Sophos protection updating failed
To do this in the Web Admin go to: What to do If the updating address is incorrect change either the central updating policy from the console or the local Auto Update settings.
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. From the home screen loaded by default when opening the application locate the 'Updating' section and then click on the 'View updating log' link.Put in a user account which definitely has access to your share don't forget to put the domain in front of your account. Are you using the default settings or are you using a self created account within your policy? Can't say what the cause could be and as I've said there I haven't encountered this issue. Putting the Sophos SAU account into the local user group in my opinion is just some kind of troubleshooting.Another thing is the user account which has been defined in your update policy. You create the account, amend the updating policies accordingly, endpoints will receive and apply the policy and start using the new account. You can then use the table below to identify the cause and resolution. Also, ensure the server hosting the share is switched on and available on the network.
